Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ER / Med-Surg / ICU Job Type: Travel/Contract Job Summary We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality patient care in Emergency Room (ER), Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments and medications, monitor clinical conditions, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure safe and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in patient condition. Provide direct nursing care based on patient needs, diagnosis, and acuity. Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, neurological status, and laboratory results as applicable. Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other prescribed treatments. Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and initiate timely interventions. Care for patients with acute, chronic, post-operative, traumatic, and critical medical conditions. Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with procedures and treatments. Manage IV lines, wounds, drains, catheters, and other patient-care equipment as applicable. For ER settings, perform triage and provide care for urgent and emergent conditions. For ICU settings, monitor critically ill patients requiring advanced interventions, continuous monitoring, and complex therapies. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility's EMR. Follow medication-safety, infection-control, patient-safety, and facility policies. Maintain professional standards and practice within the scope of an Oregon Registered Nurse. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Recent experience in ER, Med-Surg, ICU, or the applicable specialty . Current BLS certification. ACLS required for ICU and many ER positions; additional certifications may be required by the facility. Strong clinical assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
