Neonatologist Physician Assistant

Schedule: 120 shifts per year, split equally between Boise and Nampa sites. Boise shifts to be 16 hours onsite (4p – 8a), and Nampa shifts to be 24 hours long, with a minimum of 4 hours onsite. Call: None; APP in-house at night with Neonatologist on call from home (30-min response time) EMR/EHR: Epic® Salary and Benefits: Sign-on Incentives, Relocation, CME Allocation, Malpractice Insurance (Incl. Tail), Health/Dental/Vision, Retirement (403b) Responsibilities include: Attend high-risk deliveries and facilitate NICU admissions; Co-manage NICU patients with the attending Neonatologist and site-dependent well newborn nursery patients; Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with the Neonatologist in the NICU by providing active management strategies that may include nutritional adjustments, ventilator management, lab and radiology review, and updating families. Ideal candidate: Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner Program with current RN and APRN licensure; current national board certification as NNP desired. Would also consider a Physician Assistant with NICU experience and/or training.
