Hematology/Oncology - Physician

Overview Due to growth, Carle Health is excited to add a BE/BC Hematology/Oncology physician to join our growing Cancer Care teams in Olney and Mattoon, Illinois. Opportunity Details Candidates with experience and new graduates are welcome to apply. Mentorship for new graduates will be provided. Training and interest in both Hematology and Oncology are required. The Hematology/Oncology physician would practice 3 days per week at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL and 2 days per week at our Carle Mattoon on Hurst clinic in Mattoon, IL. Join a multidisciplinary team with Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Gynecologic Oncologists, Breast Surgeons, genetic and nutrition counseling services. Practice in a multi-disciplinary setting with Weekly Disease Specific Tumor Boards (Upper GI, Lower GI, Breast, Thoracic, etc.) and strong support from Radiation Oncology and all Surgical Services. Our Breast Cancer Program at the Carle Cancer Institute in Urbana, IL has both CoC and NAPBC Accreditations with weekly Breast Cancer Tumor Board and Multi-disciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic. About the Carle Cancer Institute Strong clinical cancer research with a National Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) Grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Currently > 100 open clinical trials at Urbana campus for cancer patients in East Central Illinois. Carle Cancer Institute is home of Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute with an existing opportunity to support investigator initiated studies. Close collaboration with the University of Illinois Basic Science Cancer Center in Urbana, Illinois. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $625,000 - $700,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
