Interim Controller

Hepatology Access & Reimbursement Manager (H-ARM) Individuals successful in this role possess a strong passion for patient access and thrive in a highly complex environment. The role requires exemplary customer engagement skills, strong problem‑solving and collaborative abilities, a business ownership mindset, and a deep understanding of reimbursement and access technical skills. This role supports GSK’s emerging hepatology portfolio. Responsibilities Supports access to GSK Hepatology products for appropriate patients. Educates providers on payer coverage, coding and payment policies related to GSK specialty products and on GSK Patient Support Programs to help patients access hepatology medicines. Routinely interfaces internally with payer account managers, specialty pharmacy account directors and sales professional teams. Analyzes access/reimbursement issues and opportunities related to GSK’s hepatology portfolio. Provides product access/reimbursement expertise to offices and field teams. Coordinates access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs. Supports patient access by providing subject‑matter expertise on reimbursement barriers. Reports to a Director of Hepatology Field Reimbursement. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Ability to travel up to 60% including overnights Must live within the territory Valid driver’s license 3+ years’ experience in one or more areas such as field reimbursement, specialty/biologics sales, payer marketing or patient support programs Preferred Qualifications MBA, MPH or other advanced degree Experience in hepatology or gastroenterology and understanding of the patient diagnostic journey Experience working with centers of excellence and complex health‑care systems Experience supporting product launches in rare disease or highly specialized therapies with complex access and treatment journeys Cultural fluency to engage HCPs and staff treating diverse patient populations Knowledge of payer environment, reimbursement policies and payer policies for HCP and self‑administered drugs Experience in customer focus, relationship building, issue identification and resolution, problem‑solving and project management Ability to operate independently and handle multiple projects with initiative Strategic thinker with strong verbal, written and presentation skills Knowledge of provider office and hospital outpatient reimbursement environments, regulations, customers and account‑based planning Knowledge of specialty pharmacy access process Comprehensive understanding of commercial, Medicare Parts A‑D and state Medicaid reimbursement dynamics Understanding of HCPCS, CPT and ICD‑10 coding regulations Experience working with hubs or reimbursement call centers in support of patient access Benefits GSK US Benefits Summary Equal Employment Opportunity GSK is an equal opportunity employer.
