The Medical Practice Administrator oversees operations for a multi-provider specialty medical practice, coordinating a multi-department team and reporting to the practice owner. This role focuses on improving patient flow, strengthening revenue-cycle processes, and developing operational strategy while supporting efficient, compliant, and patient-centered practice performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily office administration and clinic operations.
• Coordinate staff scheduling across a multi-department team.
• Oversee patient registration, insurance verification, and patient relations.
• Coordinate billing activities and strengthen revenue-cycle processes.
• Maintain medical records and oversee compliance requirements.
• Manage supplies and coordinate vendor relationships.
• Optimize workflows to improve patient flow and operational efficiency.
• Prepare performance reports and contribute to the development of operational strategy.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in medical office administration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with practice management software and electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance verification.
• Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.
• Experience with staff scheduling and team leadership.
• Strong communication skills.
