Compensation: $85,000–$100,000 Base Salary + Bonus

• Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (Flexible)
• Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

About the Opportunity

Ascendo Resources is partnering with an established organization in Fort Lauderdale seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join its team.

This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to management and senior leadership while remaining actively involved in day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong employee relations experience, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and senior leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and performance management.
• Coach and support leadership on employee development, retention strategies, policy interpretation, and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner on workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, compensation adjustments, and annual performance evaluations.
• Oversee essential HR functions, including onboarding, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, workers' compensation, and payroll coordination.
• Analyze HR metrics, workforce trends, and employee engagement data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support recruitment efforts for specialized, critical, and leadership-level positions.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Florida employment laws, internal policies, and HR best practices.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Benefits, and other departments to support organizational objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, procedures, and overall employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience , ideally in an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist, or similar consultative HR role.
• Strong background in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and advising senior leadership.
• Working knowledge of federal and Florida employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience with workforce planning, compensation, talent development, and organizational change.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Paychex preferred .
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Schedule

• Base Salary: $85,000–$100,000
• Full Benefits (Health, Vison, & Dental)
• Discretionary Bonus
• Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL – Fully On-Site
• Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with scheduling flexibility
• Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
