Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Float within scope of practice and skillset as needed — travelers are expected to float first
• Participate in holiday coverage as assignments fall within the scheduled rotation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN License or valid Compact RN License at time of submission
• ACLS required (American Heart Association only)
• BLS required (American Heart Association only)
• PALS required (American Heart Association only)
• CPI certification required — the Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible — locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless the posting specifically states otherwise

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
• Comfort with floating to other units within scope of practice and skillset
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient volumes and acuity levels
