ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a general ICU setting, demonstrate flexibility, and support a collaborative work environment.

Position Information

• Facility Department: ICU
• Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Float Requirements: Yes (may include stepdown, telemetry, and med-surg units)

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 10
• Patient Ratios: 1:3 in ICU
• Equipment Used: Mindray, Omnicell
• EHR: Meditech
• Patient Population: Adults

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an ICU setting, with experience in cardiac drips preferred
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: DKA, acute renal failure (ARF), congestive heart failure (CHF), coronary artery disease (CAD)

Onboarding Requirements

• Iowa state background check required (criminal and child abuse sections)
• Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult
• 10-panel drug screening including opiates
• Current titers for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and TB (within the last 12 months)

Scrubs in any color are acceptable. Please refrain from wearing sweatshirts, sweatpants, or attire with offensive imagery or wording.
