Associate Director role serving as strategic partner between business and Digital Technology Engineering, translating clinical and early development priorities into scalable systems, processes, and digital solutions. Requires 10+ years in business engagement, IT partnering, or product management within life sciences, with expertise in clinical development workflows and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary business engagement lead for Clinical Development and Early Development functions
Partner with business leaders to identify priorities, challenges, and digital capability needs
Shape demand intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning across supported business functions
Collaborate with product, engineering, data, quality, and compliance teams to deliver aligned solutions
Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or MBA in life sciences, business, or related field preferred
10+ years in business engagement, IT/DTE business partnering, product management, or similar roles
Experience supporting Clinical Development and Early Development functions in pharma or biotech
Proficiency with modeling tools such as Metworx, Certara Phoenix, or PK/PD environments
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable systems and workflows
Strong cross-functional leadership skills in matrixed, regulated environments with compliance focus
Experience designing AI business use cases to optimize operations and reduce timelines

Compensation: $164,400 - $246,600 base
