Position Highlights:

• A high-complexity VA Medical Center equipped with extensive resources serving central Indiana.
• Opportunity to enhance the Cardiology imaging program; proficiency in interpreting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions, is preferred.
• Work schedule from Monday to Friday with minimal on-call duties.
• Onsite access to Clinical Pharmacists.
• A dedicated, patient-centered team that includes Nurse Practitioners.
• An advanced Cardiac center featuring Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery, and imaging facilities.
• Involvement in a Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service, with potential for an academic appointment.
• Located in a vibrant and affordable city, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
• A current, unrestricted medical or surgical license to practice in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
