You contribute to daily operations by maintaining product knowledge, upholding brand service standards, and working collaboratively to ensure a positive guest experience.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service cultureMaintain knowledge of all menu items, take guest orders, and prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standardsDeliver legendary Starbucks service by preparing drinks to brand specificationsOperate the point-of-sale (POS) system to record and reconcile transactions, maintaining an accurate cash bankStock and rotate supplies, including checking in warehouse orders and restocking as neededMaintain cleanliness, organization, and supply levels throughout the shiftEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:6 months of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or coffeehouse preferredAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environmentAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer systemRequirements:At least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesPhysical Requirements:Frequently push/pull up to 35lbs.Frequently lift and/or carry up to 35lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsOccasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistOccasionally sit and work at a desk or computerFrequently standing and walkingAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential Conditions:IndoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme hot cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimer:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
