Occasionally conduct inpatient speech therapy evaluations, ensuring continuity and quality of care.

Keep thorough documentation that meets all relevant guidelines and requirements.

Engage in professional growth by staying updated with the latest in the field and participating in peer discussions.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

A valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Adept in implementing evidence-based practices for patients of all ages, well-versed in both developmental and acquired disorders.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Capability to modify therapy strategies to accommodate various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Good clinical judgment along with problem-solving skills.

Competent in handling electronic medical records and meeting documentation standards.
