Construction Project Manager, Self Perform, Tool Infrastructure

What To Expect
As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of various self-perform construction projects. You will lead our internal Tesla Construction team and collaborate cross-functionally with base build, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
What You'll Do
Lead a team comprising Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft personnel Foster a culture focused on safety and quality across projects and throughout the companyConduct constructability reviews of design packagesMaintain a proactive, can-do attitude to align stakeholders with project goalsIdentify project risks and opportunities, actively managing them throughout the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirementsInterface with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and commissioning teams
What You'll Bring
⁠Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 10 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil/structural/architectural fields, including 5 years as a Project ManagerPrevious experience managing projects valued at $25M or moreProficiency in material take offs and estimating from construction drawingsAbility to read, interpret, and manage changes to construction drawings Strong skills in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance, and variance analysisAbility to travel to various project locations as needed (up to 50%), often on short notice
