US POWER is hiring Solar Appointment Setters to speak with homeowners, introduce our solar and home energy solutions, and book qualified appointments for experienced Solar Consultants.
You don’t need solar or sales experience to get started. We provide paid training, hands-on coaching, and ongoing support to help you grow your confidence and communication skills.
Your job is clear:
Start conversations. Find interested homeowners. Set appointments.
This is an active, field-based role in residential neighborhoods. You won’t design systems, create proposals, explain complex financing, negotiate contracts, or close sales. Once you book a qualified appointment, our Solar Consultants take over the consultation and sales process.
What You’ll Do
- Visit residential neighborhoods throughout the Los Angeles area
- Introduce homeowners to US POWER and our home energy solutions
- Have friendly conversations about electricity costs and solar options
- Ask simple questions to identify interested, qualified homeowners
- Schedule appointments with our experienced Solar Consultants
- Record homeowner information and appointment details accurately
- Follow up with interested homeowners when needed
- Represent US POWER with professionalism and a positive attitude
How You’ll Earn
You’ll receive hourly pay with opportunities to earn more:
- $17.00 per hour for your first two days of paid training
- $18.50 per hour starting on Day 3
- $50 for each qualified appointment
- $150 for each resulting sale
- Weekly performance bonuses based on completed appointment volume
- Additional commissions when eligible projects reach designated milestones
- Uncapped performance-based earning potential
We’ll review the full compensation plan, including appointment qualifications, eligibility requirements, and payment milestones, during the interview.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM–7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
