Automotive Store Manager Consumer Tire – Middlefield, OH

Pay: $65,000–$75,000 base salary + performance bonus

Schedule: Monday–Friday | NO WEEKENDS

Consumer Tire is a family-owned automotive repair company serving Northeast Ohio, and we're looking for an experienced Automotive Store Manager to lead our Mentor location.

This isn't a position where we're simply looking for someone to open the doors, make a schedule, and watch the numbers. What You'll Do

As Store Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day performance of your location. You'll lead your team, build relationships with customers, drive sales and profitability, and make sure the shop operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable

• Build a positive shop culture where employees can succeed

• Deliver an excellent customer experience and build long-term customer relationships

• Manage store sales, profitability, expenses, and performance goals

• Oversee daily shop workflow and help keep technicians productive and work moving efficiently

• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate automotive services

• Monitor pricing, discounts, margins, inventory, and other factors affecting profitability

• Maintain high standards for workmanship, customer service, cleanliness, and safety

• Ensure company policies and safety procedures are consistently followed

• Work with company leadership to identify opportunities to grow the location and improve performance

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands the automotive repair business and is ready to take ownership of a location.

Strong candidates will have:

• Previous automotive management, assistant management, service management, or comparable leadership experience

• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services

• Tire and tire-service knowledge

• Proven sales and customer-service skills

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees

• Understanding of shop workflow and technician productivity

• Knowledge of pricing, margins, discounting, inventory control, and profitability

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying organized and composed

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of automotive industry experience
  
  
• Previous lead, supervisory, service management, or store management experience

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or an automotive-related field is a plus, but real-world automotive experience and proven leadership matter more to us

Physical Requirements

This position may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, gripping, handling, lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs., and pushing/pulling up to 60 lbs. for portions of the workday. Occasional lifting or moving of items over 60 lbs. may also be required.
