Job Summary: The Credentialing Coordinator II verifies the professional licensing, training, and certifications of medical staff to ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards. The role establishes effective working relationships with physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors, and collaborates with Senior Management to meet facility goals. Key Responsibilities Verify and maintain professional licensing, training, and certifications for all medical staff. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Joint Commission standards. Establish effective working relationships with physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors. Collaborate with Senior Management to meet facility goals and requirements. Manage the credentialing, privileging, and related processes for practitioners applying for or maintaining privileges. Qualifications and Skills Maintain confidentiality. Read and comprehend complex instructions, business correspondence, and memos. Write complex correspondence. Present information effectively in group settings to patients, physicians, and other employees. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong computer knowledge and technical skills; specifically, with Excel. Knowledge of credentialing software is critical. Prioritize and handle multiple projects. Independent decision‑making skills. Demonstrate knowledge of policies, guidelines, facility credentialing plans, bylaws, and accreditation/credentialing standards (JCAHO, AAAHC, NCQA, HCFA). #J-18808-Ljbffr
