Overview
MRI Technologist – MRI specialty in Seaside, Oregon. Travel assignment begins 08/31/2026 for a period measured in weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,326 to $2,453. Guaranteed hours are not provided on this assignment (0.0). Shift is a 4x10-day schedule in a hospital setting. The facility operates as a critical access hospital with 23 staffed beds and requires block scheduling in the MRI/Radiology unit. This role emphasizes adult acute and outpatient imaging with a 1:1 patient ratio and GE MRI experience, plus EPIC charting.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations for adult acute and outpatient populations, including body imaging (abdomen, breast, chest), neuro/head & neck, and spine imaging with GE MRI equipment.
- Apply advanced imaging sequences and processing (diffusion, gradient echo, perfusion, ADC mapping, subtraction, MPR) and manage PACS/post-processing workflows.
- Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and comfort; maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and adhere to block scheduling.
- Operate and optimize GE MRI protocols; work with familiarity to Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba as needed; verify image quality and technical accuracy.
- Document procedures and results in the EPIC charting system; coordinate with radiology staff and referring clinicians.
- Adhere to unit protocols, radiation safety principles, and infection control standards; participate in routine equipment checks and quality control.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience
- GE MRI experience required; familiarity with Philips, Siemens, Toshiba; PACS and image post-processing experience
- BLS certification
- EPIC charting experience
- Vehicle required for assignment
- Ability to work in an MRI environment with adult populations (acute and outpatient)
- Commitment to block scheduling and holiday coverage as specified
- Must pass pre-start modules and comply with required onboarding/paperwork
