RN Medical / Surgical / Telemetry

The RN will perform and document frequent neurological assessments, including the NIH Stroke Scale. Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in real time. Ensure compliance with stroke core measures, including dysphagia screening, education, and care plans. Administer medications using BCMA standards with a focus on safety and accuracy. Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, including providers, therapy, and case management. Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow in a high-turnover environment. Maintain a constant focus on falls prevention, skin integrity, and patient safety. A commitment to evidence-based, protocol-driven care with a focus on patient safety and rapid intervention is essential. The unit specializes in the care of acute stroke and complex telemetry patients. The RN will work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
