Social Services Director with Geriatric Experience
Job Summary:
Avir at Paris is seeking a qualified Social Services Director with Geriatric Experience to join our team in Paris, Texas. As a part-time Social Services Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents and their families. With a focus on resident-centered care, you will play a vital role in building a positive and compassionate facility culture.
Responsibilities:
Provide social services to respond to the emotional needs of residents and their families
Assist with resident admissions and referral process
Develop and implement programs to meet the social, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a positive facility culture
Manage and supervise social services staff as needed

Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work
At least one year of experience working in geriatrics
Valid Driver's license
Licensure required
Previous experience with Nursing Homes preferred
