The Director of Admissions & Marketing is responsible for aspects of the census, move ins, community relations and event coordination. Must get the word out and display the facility in a positive light to the community.

Requirements: 

• BA Degree in Marketing or Related Field;

• at least 5 years of professional experience,

• computer literate, organized

• Mature, professional, friendly, able to work with seniors

• Team player

• Dependable vehicle

• Regular fairly local travel

• Occasional weekend/evening work

• Ability to support the health, comfort, safety and well-being of the Residents

 

• Generate leads through local contact within local communities

• Conduct prompt follow up of leads

• Plan and implement programs and events in the community/healthcare org’s

• Counsel prospective Residents and Families

• Develop & maintain relationships with potential referral sources

• Develop Promotional Campaigns with marketing consultants

• Communicate and Coordinate regularly with In house office staff .

• Identify referral sources and build relationships

• Conduct field visit and pre admissions interview

• Gathers all necessary documentation for admission

• Identify venues where the facility can receive the most exposure

• Continually establish new contacts within the community to promote the facility

• Reports any problems/concerns to the Administrator promptly

• Remains knowledgeable about facility operations

• Support the community by attending special functions, etc

• Visits Residents in rehab facilities

• Visits Rehab facilities daily to recruit new Referrals to the facility

• Conducts tours in conjunction with in house staff to potential residents.

• Maintains a list of discharge planners in rehab centers for networking

• Keeps staff updated on events, new admissions, change in census

• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Administrator

This position requires you to be in the field full time. Monthly gas allowance will be given and bonus structure.
