Manufacturing Training Specialist - Manufacturing Support

Amgen seeks a Manufacturing Training Specialist to lead training strategy and workforce readiness for its advanced FleX Batch facility in Holly Springs, North Carolina. This senior individual contributor will develop qualification pathways, manage training governance, and ensure manufacturing teams are prepared for facility startup and ongoing operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manufacturing training strategy aligned with startup readiness and operational objectives
- Create and maintain training assignment portfolios and role-based qualification pathways
- Establish training governance tools, metrics, and reporting to monitor compliance and readiness
- Lead manufacturing fundamentals training programs for new hires and qualification
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify readiness gaps and drive mitigation actions
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing training program development and delivery
- Strong knowledge of GMP compliance and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
- Experience with training effectiveness assessment and continuous improvement
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with learning management systems and training metrics
- Ability to lead in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environments
