Job Description\n Care Career is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Louisville, Kentucky.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT/CRT) travel/contract position\n Experience: Minimum 1 year; first-time travelers accepted if you have adult critical-care experience.\n Patient population: COPD, asthma, respiratory failure, burns, strokes, trauma.\n Floating: You may float throughout the hospital.\n Critical-care skills: Adult critical care, ABGs, oxygen/high-flow oxygen, aerosol treatments, intubation assistance, bedside bronchoscopy/tracheostomy assistance, and inhaled epoprostenol.\n Trauma: Level I trauma experience preferred.\n NICU/ER: Travelers generally aren't trained in NICU, and you may be expected to work independently there; ER training is also generally not provided.\n Credentials: State RT license, BLS, ACLS, accredited RT-program diploma. RRT preferred; CRT may be considered with manager approval. NRP preferred.\n Equipment: PB 980, Nihon Kohden 440/550, Hamilton MRI, HT70, V30 BiPAPs, Medfusion for epoprostenol.\n EMR: Cerner.\n Medication system: Omnicell.\n Orientation: Day 1 NEO; Days 2–5 typically 2 day shifts + 2 night shifts, adjusted to comfort.\n Schedule:\n Days: 0630–1900\n Nights: 1830–0700\n Every-other-weekend rotation\n No call\n Some holidays required\n 6-week schedule posted 4 weeks ahead\n RTO requires manager approval\n Dress: Ceil blue scrubs; black bottoms allowed.\n Parking: Free flat-lot parking or garage if eligible.\n About Care Career\n \n Care Career brings together a portfolio of leading healthcare staffing organizations, each delivering specialized talent solutions across the industry.
