Facilitates physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field.

Day Shift - 3x12'sEducation and Work Experience:Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: RequiredRelevant acute care experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: RequiredCertified Surgical Technologist (CST): Required
