Registered Nurse - Ortho and Robotics

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM), with 16 hours of call per month. No weekend shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in Orthopedics and Robotics. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a wide range of surgical procedures, including General, Urology, Gynecology, Colorectal, Vascular, Spine, and specialized cases in Orthopedic and Robotic surgery. The nurse will provide medical care to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of surgical procedures.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing role.
• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in handling challenging patient ratios, specifically 1:1 during shifts.
