Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Victor, NY. This role focuses on the development of advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) technologies, specifically in the design, development, and testing of digital, analog, and RF circuits for ASW receiver systems, including sonobuoy receivers and signal processing electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and systems (digital, analog, RF).
• Conduct system-level trade-offs, risk assessments, and design reviews.
• Test and debug prototype hardware to ensure functionality and performance.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation and present findings at design reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware into ASW systems.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.
• Travel occasionally to support project needs and collaboration efforts.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in hardware design.
• Proficiency in analog, digital, and RF design and signal processing.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Altium and LTspice.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience guiding PCB layout and collaborating with ECAD teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in PCB design and hardware design.
• Knowledge of FPGA, circuit design, and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB for signal processing and simulation tasks.

Work Environment

This role is based in a collaborative environment where engineers work closely together to innovate and enhance ASW systems. The work involves using cutting-edge technologies and tools such as Altium and LTspice. Dress code is professional, and occasional travel is required to support project and team collaboration

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $145000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Rochester,NY.
