Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a Med/Surg setting. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing quality patient care to a diverse patient population that includes adults, geriatrics, and occasional pediatric patients.Position InformationDepartment: Med/SurgNumber of Beds: 18Patient Ratios: 1:5Electronic Health Record: MeditechWeekend Hours: Rotating weekendsResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to Med/Surg patients, focusing on quality and patient-centered care.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.Perform clinical tasks, including managing IVs and Foley catheters, and addressing pain management needs.Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.QualificationsRequired Certifications: ACLS, BLSEducation: ADN or BSNExperience: A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required.Preferred Skills: Experience with IVs, Foley catheters, and electronic medication administration records (EMAR).Personality Fit: Must be friendly, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively within a team.Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
