Summary An Inside Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining, identifying, and growing the customer base, providing consistent and superior customer service, increasing sales and margin, and following up on all accounts. Responsibilities Provide timely, accurate, and complete project quotations Provide accurate project management of project orders Serve multiple customer types including contractors, government, commercial, and industrial accounts Negotiate pricing and terms with project vendors and customers Enter orders for different jobs for different customers Set up certain customers on blanket agreements Follow up on product deliveries Assist on the sales counter Maintain courtesy and politeness toward customers Multi-task and prioritize tasks throughout the day Perform other duties as required Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED 1–2 years counter experience, with preference for the electrical distribution industry Solid customer service background Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Eclipse knowledge preferred Good mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic What We Offer You Healthcare plans Dental & vision insurance Paid time off Paid parental leave 401(k) retirement savings with company match Professional and personal development programs Opportunity to become a shareholder Employer‑paid short‑ and long‑term disability insurance Employer‑paid life insurance for spouse and dependents Robust wellness program Gym reimbursement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Sonepar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
