Kentucky Licensed Mental Health Therapist — Part-Time Remote | Kentucky License Required Help Expand Access to Mental Healthcare Across Kentucky Backpack Healthcare is growing in Kentucky! We provide high-quality virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults , making care more accessible to families across the state. What You’ll Do You’ll provide 15–22 telehealth sessions per week , delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Kentucky. Most clinicians see clients during weekday afternoons and evenings (2:00–9:00 PM EST) , with weekend availability welcomed. You create your schedule—we provide the referrals, administrative support, billing, and credentialing. Your day-to-day includes: Conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans Providing evidence-based individual and family therapy through secure telehealth Collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators Completing timely, accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) Supporting families through education, collaboration, and coordinated care Competitive Compensation + Monthly Bonus Potential We believe clinicians should have the opportunity to earn competitive compensation while maintaining the flexibility of part-time practice. What You’ll Earn: $50 per billable hour for independently licensed clinicians Monthly bonus potential based on eligible clinical and performance metrics Additional opportunities for professional growth and increased earning potential as Backpack continues to expand Additional Benefits: 401(k) with 3% company match $150 annual CEU reimbursement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 100% Remote Work Opportunities for clinical leadership and professional growth Collaborative clinical support and interdisciplinary case consultation What We’re Looking For We're seeking clinicians who have: An active Kentucky independent license (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) Experience working with children, adolescents, and families—or a passion for serving this population The ability to work independently in a virtual environment Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care Bilingual (English/Spanish) clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.
