CT Technologist - Radiology

Location St. Vincent's Medical Center, 10427 Bridgeport, Connecticut. Position Summary The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Select appropriate exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields while assessing patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross‑sectional images for the radiologist. Participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the radiologist or physician assistant, using proper sterile technique to produce CT images. Qualifications Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health; obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. ARRT CT Advanced certification required within 12 months of job entry date; failure to meet this requirement will result in termination or transfer out of the CT Technologist position.
