Quality Control Manager

Fort Collins, CO (covering Denver, CO)Salary range $91K to 100K yearly Mon-Fri. Benefits: 100% Health coverage with Cigna, retirement plan, shares, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage QC program in collaboration with the project superintendent.
• Work closely with PM and PS to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in the start-up and implementation of the six step quality control/safety process.
• Lead weekly QC meetings.
• Assist with the development of the preparatory meeting agendas and participate in the preparatory meeting prior to the start of each definable feature of work.
• Interface direct with owners quality assurance and management on all quality related issues.
• Review initial and follow up inspection reports, punch list items, and close-in inspection results.
• Aware of the contract, plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field.
• Document and submit daily report of quality control activity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture, or Construction management.
• 5-7 years of experience in commercial construction industry.
• Valid Driver License - ICC building inspector certification and/or state qualification on DSA or HCAI Certification on scissor and/or boom lifts.
• Comfortable working with MS Office (excel), Primavera, and AutoCAD.
• Experience managing employees.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in lean six sigma.
