We’re Hiring: Attorney – Driver Case Support

We are seeking a motivated Attorney to join our growing team and assist rideshare and gig-economy drivers with matters involving account deactivation, court filings, and related disputes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or attorney early in their career who wants hands-on experience working with clients, preparing cases, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and participating in court proceedings.

Position Responsibilities

• Review rideshare driver deactivation cases involving platforms such as Uber and Lyft.
• Evaluate client intake forms, deactivation notices, appeal decisions, screenshots, earnings records, trip records, and other evidence.
• Conduct legal research regarding jurisdiction, venue, statutes of limitation, small claims procedures, service requirements, and other relevant issues.
• Draft and review complaints, statements of claim, responses, motions, demand letters, settlement correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Assist in developing case strategies based on the facts and applicable law.
• Prepare clients for hearings and court appearances.
• Attend court proceedings when authorized and appropriate.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, required documentation, deadlines, and next steps.
• Work closely with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure cases are properly documented and deadlines are met.
• Maintain professional and confidential client files.
• Provide legal guidance within the scope permitted by the attorney's licensure and applicable professional-responsibility requirements.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required. Admission to at least one U.S. state or District of Columbia bar is preferred/required depending on assigned duties and jurisdictions. Candidates should possess strong legal research, writing, analytical, organizational, and client-communication skills.

Experience with civil litigation, small claims, consumer law, contract disputes, employment-related matters, arbitration, or gig-economy issues is helpful but not required.
