Purchasing RepresentativeLocation: Audubon, PA Schedule: Tuesday-Friday: 7:00AM-5:30PM Pay Rate: $65,000-80,000 Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Peopleshare is partnered with a leading medical manufacturer in the Audubon area who is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Representative to join their team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting procurement operations, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are available to support production schedules and business objectives.Position Summary:The Purchasing Representative is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the timely delivery of materials, supplies, and services required for daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesCreate and process purchase orders for materials, supplies, and services.Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status.Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure adequate material availability.Track and expedite orders to meet production schedules and customer demands.Review supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or deliveries.Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information within the ERP system.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Evaluate supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and service.Assist in negotiating pricing and terms with vendors.Collaborate with internal departments to support operational objectives and project requirements.QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.2+ years of purchasing, procurement, buying, inventory control, or supply chain experience preferred.Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of purchasing processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.Experience working with multiple vendors and negotiating pricing.Ability to analyze purchasing trends and make data-driven decisions.Strong customer service mindset and collaborative approach.BenefitsCompetitive salaryHealth insurance Benefits- starting in 2027Paid time off and holidaysCareer growth and development opportunitiesCollaborative and team-oriented work environment PeopleShare Inc
