Worthington Tractor Parts, Inc. is looking for a mechanic with a positive attitude and great work ethic to join our team in Goldsboro, NC. This individual must have good oral communication skills, understand and carry out verbal instructions, must be able to pay attention to detail, use a forklift, and understand safety procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prep salvage on yard when received
• Remove parts off equipment (tractors, combines, cotton pickers, etc.)
• Keep yard and shop organized and maintained
• Dismantle tires off rims
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, tele-handlers, and pay-loaders
• Work from heights and climb ladders to lift equipment off/on shelving
• Must be able to manually lift, squat, carry, push and pull parts
• Unloading and loading equipment
• Assist with inventory control and count checks
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

- Must be able to lift 70 pounds

- Strong Mechanical Aptitude

- Must be able to obtain our company's safety & forklift certification

- Work safely and accurately

- Attention to detail

- Must be at least 18 years of age; must be able to legally work in US
