Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist in preparing patient rooms and setting up sterile supplies using aseptic techniques.
  
  
• 
  Support the surgical team during obstetrics-related procedures by providing needed instruments and supplies promptly.
  
  
• 
  Participate in case timeout procedures to ensure patient safety.
  
  
• 
  Aid nursing staff during deliveries with patient preparation, positioning, transport, transfer, and discharge.
  
  
• 
  Collect urinalysis specimens and record maternal vital signs, weight, height, and intake/output measurements.
  
  
• 
  Perform personal care services and assist patients with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current CNA certification is required.
  
  
• 
  Must have scrub experience and EPIC system proficiency.
  
  
• 
  Possess a current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
  
  
• 
  At least two years of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  
  
• 
  High school diploma or GED; associates/technical degree preferred.
  
  
• 
  Certification as a Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician is a plus.
