Job Summary A Retail Loan Processor/Servicer supports all aspects of mortgage and consumer loan servicing, including customer inquiries, payment processing, loan disbursements, and payoff documentation. It involves close coordination with internal systems and external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. Additional responsibilities include quality control reviews, lien management, and support for loan origination and post-closing activities. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Respond to general loan account inquiries via phone, mail, and email; assist customers with payments and account questions. Review daily mortgage and consumer loan payment exceptions in Director; process payment reversals or corrections in CT Teller as needed. Prepare mortgage and consumer loan payoff letters; provide payoff information for teller processing. Complete manual mortgage discharges and submit to County; coordinate with Lereta for additional discharge processing. Utilize systems such as Cleartouch, Director, and Encompass to scan/upload documents, retrieve reports, and generate monthly Board reports. Perform quality control reviews on 10% of newly closed mortgage loans. Maintain AML, Treasury, and prime rate information within Cleartouch; update system parameters as needed. Order inspections and bringdowns for mortgage files; disburse funds and update file maintenance accordingly. Process loans in Encompass and support Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs); assist with file organization, underwriting coordination, and TRID-compliant document preparation. Enter new loans and disburses funds, complete post-closing maintenance for mortgage and consumer loan files. Provide backup support for commercial loan processing. Coordinate with attorneys to obtain recorded and final documents for closed loans. Submit and maintain liens for autos, ATVs, boats, and recreational vehicles via DMV or UCC's website; handle UCC terminations/lien releases when a loan is paid off. Review and validate final HMDA Wiz data in Questsoft for accuracy and compliance. Supervisory Responsibilities None Qualification Standards High school diploma required; associate degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior related banking experience preferred, including teller and lending responsibilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret complex information and convey it in simple terms. Strong customer service skills with a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable approach. Highly organized with effective time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Accurate data entry skills across multiple systems and platforms. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to shifting priorities on short notice. Equipment, Machines And Software Used Basic Equipment and Machinery: Basic personal computer skills that include the ability to send/receive e-mail messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet, and perform basic word processing, bookkeeping, and/or data entry. Ability to create spreadsheets, graphics, and reports using standard software applications. Ability to operate a computer, printer, scanner, copier, facsimile machine, telephone, postage meter and calculator. Computer Software: Ability to utilize Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and banking and lending software with the willingness to learn new software, as necessary. Physical And Mental Requirements While performing the duties of this position, the Retail Loan Processor/Servicer is regularly required to, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions. The physical requirements of this position call for the ability to lift, move, push, pull, or otherwise exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading. Environmental Conditions There is no exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Work is performed in a typical office work environment.
