Group Fitness InstructorGold's Gym is seeking an energetic, motivating, and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to lead safe, effective, and engaging fitness classes for members of all experience levels. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and high-energy environment that inspires members to reach their health and wellness goals while delivering an exceptional class experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about fitness, enjoys connecting with people, and can confidently lead classes with professionalism, personality, and strong communication skills.Benefits include a supportive team environment, complimentary Gold's Gym membership, flexible class scheduling, competitive pay, training and development, employee discounts and perks, promotion opportunities, a fitness-minded workplace culture, certification discounts, and additional perks.Key responsibilities include leading scheduled group fitness classes in a safe, professional, and motivating manner, providing clear instruction, exercise demonstrations, and modifications for all fitness levels, creating a positive, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere for members, arriving prepared and on time for all assigned classes, maintaining class attendance, engagement, and energy levels, ensuring music, equipment, and room setup are appropriate before each class, promoting member retention by building strong relationships with participants, enforcing gym policies and maintaining a safe exercise environment, staying current on fitness trends, formats, and certifications, and representing Gold's Gym in a professional and positive manner at all times.Qualifications include current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification, CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain within required timeframe, previous group instruction experience preferred, strong communication and leadership skills, ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of people, reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor, and passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed.Preferred formats include experience teaching one or more of the following: Cycle/Spin, HIIT/Bootcamp, Strength Training, Yoga, Pilates, Dance Fitness/Zumba, Senior Fitness, Core/Mobility/Stretching.Physical requirements include the ability to lead classes for 30–60 minutes at a time, ability to demonstrate exercises and movements safely, and ability to lift, move, and set up equipment as needed.Gold's Gym, founded in 1965 in Venice Beach, California, has become the most well-known and traditional fitness company in the world with over 600 locations spanning 6 continents.
