Our manufacturing client in Des Moines is looking for entry level wire assemblers. This position is a long-term, temp-to-hire job with extensive opportunities for growth. Pay: $18 / Hour to start (+ raises every 6 months) Hours : 7:30am-4:00pm (+ optional OT upon hire-on) Duties:
Wire Assembly

- Read and interpret shop drawings.
- Cut and crimp wires using hand tools.
- Connect wires by following alphanumeric labels and color codes.
- Perform quality control on completed products.
- Proven job stability (1-3 years per job; no more than 3 jobs in the last 5 years).
- Strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed.
- Successful completion of attention to detail test.
- Ability to sit or stand for an 8 hour shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist motions for an 8 hour shift.
- Previous wiring or assembly experience helpful, but not required.
- Proven job stability (1-3 years per job; no more than 3 jobs in the last 5 years).
- Strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed.
