St. Anne’s Episcopal School, a preschool through 8th-grade co‑educational day school situated on a beautiful, 125‑acre rural campus in Middletown, Delaware, seeks a spirited, creative, and experienced educator who has a background in education and a passion for encouraging and fostering creativity, academic, and spiritual growth, while also nurturing young learners to explore and discover the world around them. Job Responsibilities & Expectations Applicants are needed for all grade levels. Applicants should be available from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Candidates may be called on short notice for daily needs or for longer‑term assignments. Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, flexible, and warm personality with a passion for creating a love of learning in all students. Understand the social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development of early childhood students. Reflect on one’s own teaching to adapt lessons to meet different abilities and interests. Employ effective verbal and written communication skills. Communicate respectfully, clearly, and honestly in verbal, electronic, and written form with parents, administrators, and colleagues. Develop professionally through further education, reading, workshops, and/or conferences. Attend specific school events/activities outside of the school day, including professional development and in‑service sessions, and supervise as needed. Minimum Education Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
