About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Land & Site Acquisition for Data Centers. This executive will be responsible for leading the strategic process of identifying and acquiring sites for the development of data centers, with a focus on meeting the needs of major cloud and AI customers. The role involves owning the acquisition process from market strategy to site readiness, and requires close collaboration with various internal teams as well as external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale real estate transactions, extensive experience in site acquisition for mission-critical facilities, and a deep understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of data center development. Key responsibilities for the Head of Land & Site Acquisition include developing and executing site acquisition strategies, leading negotiations for commercial agreements, and engaging with local communities and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years' of experience in real estate transactions, and a proven track record in managing and developing teams. Executive presence, the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, and a willingness to travel are also essential. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, experience with large-scale data center campuses, and established relationships in the industry. The role is highly strategic and demands a candidate who can operate at the intersection of real estate, infrastructure, and technology.
