Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week Option | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled | Start Date: August 3, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting serving all age ranges from infant to geriatric
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with a wide variety of complex diagnoses
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 within a 47-bed ED with an average daily census of 130
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
• Float within the Emergency Department specialty as required
• Adhere to all facility policies, compliance requirements, and scheduling expectations including holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience (candidates with 1 year of strong ER experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online vendor)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing complex, high-acuity emergency cases across all patient age groups
• First-time travel nurses with a strong Emergency Room background and skill set will be considered
• Comfort with floating within scope and specialty without restrictions
