BMT Oncology *Oncology/Chemo experience required* ***Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required*** *Floating is required throughout the Oncology department as needed and will be floated to unit with greatest needed per shift. Will not always be working specifically on 9800 unit.* Ratio- 4:1 for all shifts Avg. Daily Census: 30 Beds/Rooms: 32 Every other weekend required Auto stem cell transplants Chemotherapy administration ONS/ONCC, ACLS, BCLS required Chemo cert required 1 year experience required Will accept first time travelers Required Skills: Oncology experience required, Administration of chemotherapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Antibiotics, Antiemetics, Foley catheter insertion/management, Isolation Precautions, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring, Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Magnet & Teaching Hospital / Level I Trauma Center Total Staffed Beds: 1,266 Scrub Color: Navy Blue Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: • Monthly parking passes available.
