For more information, visit Job Summary AGA is seeking a Data Analyst I to support the business by extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to identify trends and inform decision‑making. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards. Primary Responsibilities: Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather data from various internal and external sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through cleaning, validation, and transformation. Reporting & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs). Ad‑Hoc Reporting & Analysis: Respond to ad‑hoc data requests from business stakeholders, providing timely and accurate reports based on user requests. Documentation: Document data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Collaboration with Business Stakeholders: Partner with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions. Support Financial Forecasting: Assist in the development and refinement of financial forecasting models by providing data analysis and insights. Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual reporting processes to improve operational efficiency. Primary Skills & Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or related role. Programming Proficiency: Working knowledge of at least one programming language for data analysis (Python, R, or similar tool). Database Skills: Knowledge of database & data warehouse structure, experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation a plus. Data Visualization: Strong skills in Microsoft Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations. Analytical Skills: Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
