Job Description:\n\n \n \n \n Job Title: Shift Supervisor \n Job Summary：\n 1. Production safety (proper wear of PPEs)\n 2. Product quality (yield produced by each shift)\n 3. Productivity (pieces produced by each shift)\n 4. Job observation (associates’ skills/wait on the job/defects/on-site conditions/preparations)\n 5. Training (equipment operation, quality standards, process requirements and information feedback procedure)\n 6. Emergency issue handling (4M changes, sudden equipment breakdowns, production problems)\n Job Functions:\n \n Conducting pre-shift meeting \n Assembly's process of finished products \n Guidance and leadership to personnel and motivation of Associates to reach \n Create grid whiteboard maintenance and direction to Associates \n Oversight of glass auditing and Plex entry \n Responsible report to Lead supervisor, organize and plan production based on production orders, shift production daily report. \n Fully responsible to shift production quality and cost, manage and control each KPI in order to fulfill the company's requests. \n Implement pre-shift meeting regulation. Report production, quality, work regulation issues. \n Responsible to solve production issues, organize personnel to solve problems. \n Responsible for work coordination, assist financial department and statistic department in plant stock taking and bonus management. \n Supervise the preparation of each position before production, Monitor work regulations, quality, safety. Make sure that operators will work according to 3 operation instructions. \n Implement initial training ,formal training and multi positions training, Implementation evaluation follow-up. \n Collect shift production data, analyze shift production and quality status, report to Lead supervisor. \n .Responsible for managing 5 Star Kanban and conducting the TPM activity of the workshop \n Implement 5s and visionary management on-site. Keep safe and clean environment. Keep items in their positions. \n In case of emergency, follow the instructions in emergency plan. \n Responsible for quality document and record management. Manage and supervise equipment and tools in the plant. \n Double check the accuracy of production report preparation and import to system. Make sure the responsible warehouse materials quantities match system record. \n Identify workplace environment factor, hazard resource and control method. \n Strictly implement the regulations of comprehensive management system(Complete Daily Safety checklist). \n Take care of sorting and storage of own waste. \n Assist other matters. \n Other duties as assigned \n Nothing in the Position Description restricts management's right to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time \n \n Qualifications: \n \n Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form\n Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers\n 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred\n High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) \n The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds\n Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)\n Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded\n Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions\n Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are\n Ability to identify and distinguish colors\n Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.\n The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate\n Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots\n Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals\n Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables\n Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software\n FORKLIFT OPERATION (Certification Required)\n \n Operates forklifts, as needed, to support Production\n \n Background and policy of company, Processing of produce, safety requirement, and any necessary knowledge\n Knowledge of 5S and how it applies to specific work area \n Equipment and electric appliance's mechanical structures and operating principles \n Remember and understand \n Self working 90 days \n Familiar with operation 60 days \n Being a trainer 180 days \n Give advises 180 days \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n1s or 2nd Shift\n\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\n\nFuyao Glass America Inc., Core Foundation Competencies including Ethics, Integrity, Values & Trust.
