Basic Qualifications

Education/Training: H.S. Diploma or equivalency.

Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; attention to detail; and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Working conditions: Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, reach, climb; push/pull and lift items weighing 40 lbs. or less and operate heavy machinery, power tools, or equipment.

Experience: Prior auto detail experience is preferred but not required.

General Responsibilities

The Detailer ensures trucks meet high-quality aesthetic standards for customer delivery by cleaning, detailing, and applying finishes. Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe, organized wash bay and meeting strict production deadlines.

This position is classified as safety sensitive. Successful candidates must comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the companys drug- and alcohol-free workplace requirements. Individuals in this role are subject to pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing, consistent with applicable law and company policy. Violations of these policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Essential Duties

1. Responsible for detailing trucks prior to delivery to customer.

1. Keeps wash bay clean, organized, and in proper running order.

1. Uses correct chemicals/washes to detail trucks inside and out.

1. Completes small decaling and paint touch up, as required.

1. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

1. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the companys compliance with all regulatory requirements.

1. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate personnel.

1. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

Ancillary Duties

1. Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

Compensation details: 19-21 Hourly Wage
