The City of Gadsden is currently accepting applications for a Mechanic - Heavy Duty position. This is a full-time position with benefits. The salary range for this position is $40,352.00 - $53,248.00.

Purpose of Position: The purpose of this position is to service and maintain the City's heavy equipment, trucks and vehicles. Duties include, but are not limited to: repairing and maintaining the City's fleet of vehicles, making on-road service call, providing basic tune-ups and performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
