Software Engineer - 3D Graphics

Responsibilities
- Build 3D tools for inspecting point clouds and creating precise engineering drawings.
- Extend the point-cloud renderer and GPU picking system.
- Solve geometry problems involving clipping, snapping, construction planes, and camera controls.
- Identify and fix performance issues in large real-world datasets.
- Improve shared rendering and interaction systems for CAD tools.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in 3D mathematics and spatial reasoning, including transforms, planes, and projections.
- Experience building software through coursework, personal projects, internships, or full-time work.
- Ability to read and modify code written by others.
- Experience with TypeScript and browser graphics, or comparable performance-sensitive graphics experience in a statically typed language.
- Attention to correctness and performance, sound technical judgment, and initiative to investigate and complete problems.
