Responsibilities

• Schedules and confirms departmental procedures in collaboration with appropriate personnel, ensuring alignment with the current hospital physician privilege list
• Reviews and verifies procedure schedules on a daily and ongoing basis to ensure accuracy
• Coordinates the availability of shared equipment with patient care and service areas during the scheduling process
• Effectively manages a high volume of incoming calls and scheduling activity
• Demonstrates strong communication skills when interacting with staff, providers, and departments
• Maintains the ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced, and high-stress environment

Qualifications

• Proficient in the use of computers, phone systems, and general office equipment
• Requires strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess a good understanding of medical terminology
• One year of related scheduling experience
