Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida physical therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation or hospital rehab unit preferred.
• Familiarity with Meditech (Expanse) documentation system preferred.
• Ability to perform patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and family/patient education.
• Comfort working in a unit with typical inpatient rehab gym equipment such as balance and gait systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience with inpatient patient ratios around 7:1 preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800–1700.
• Work schedule: Days, 40 hours per week.
• Weekend rotation required for call coverage.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide direct patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation unit serving a 30-bed service line. Collaborate with PT/OT/SLP and therapy tech staff. Deliver evaluations, therapeutic interventions, functional training, and caregiver education to support patient recovery and safe discharge planning.
