Deposit Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented a Deposit Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates initiative, and is committed to delivering excellent internal and member service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and actively promote the organization's mission, core values, and long-term objectives while adhering to bylaws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Review, sort, distribute, scan, and file internal documentation from various departments and branches.
• Maintain and manage account signature cards and agreements for both active and closed accounts.
• Conduct research and respond to inquiries for internal teams and external members.
• Perform account and balance verifications and resolve discrepancies.
• Balance assigned General Ledger accounts on a daily and monthly basis.
• Complete daily balancing of ATM/ITM transactions (as assigned).
• Process levies, garnishments, and account hold procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Research, process, and correct redeemed savings bonds.
• Handle daily return item processing.
• Perform Fiserv IP processing and reconciliation.
• Process and support IRA and HSA accounts, including assisting members with related inquiries (training provided).

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to think critically and leverage internal and external resources to solve problems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in financial services or operations is preferred
