Job Duties

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot processing and packaging machinery.
• Operate control panels, computer terminals, and ERP systems for production processes (mixing, blending, cooking, packaging).
• Package finished goods (bagging, boxing, labeling) to specification.
• Perform in-process quality checks per GMP and customer specifications.
• Record production data, including weight, quantity, and output metrics.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs.
• Support production schedules and output requirements.
• Maintain work areas in compliance with 6S and sanitation standards.
• Operate multiple production lines and equipment stations as assigned.
• Execute standardized work instructions and production procedures (POKA systems).

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Experience operating production or packaging machinery.
• Familiarity with GMP and sanitation standards.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment troubleshooting ability.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Experience using ERP or production control systems is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Line Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do


As a Line Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The Line Operator supports manufacturing by operating production equipment according to established procedures and quality standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production environments.
